No third party applications

Gizmodo reports that they had discussions with Apple's VP of Applications, Eddie Cue, and Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing, Phil Schiller. Iniitially, the iPhone will not suport Third Party Applications because it's not really OS X, just a stripped down version. No external memory, replacable battery, or wireless sync either. It's a first generation product so who knows, maybe rev two will address these issues. I'm down on the excitement scale now.

I named my site iPhoneAPPS because I thought that there would be a great opportunity for add on applications to the iPhone. Now to learn that the first version is CLOSED!!!!!! It hurts a bit. Makes me want to scream.....

Of course my other phone sites will keep me busy. See the bottom of the page the other websites in my EMPIRE.
