Apple has sold 5 million iPhones

Apple has sold 5 million iPhones, according to 9 to 5 Mac, an Apple rumor site. At the iPhone's launch, Steve Jobs set a public goal of selling 10 million iPhones -- next year. With the iPhone only on sale for six months, that means Apple's already selling its sleek smartphones at 2008 speed.

Mac OS X 10.5.2 is packing hefty fixes, due January-ish

As much love as Apple's Mac OS X Leopard has received in the press and from users, there are still plenty of bugs that need ironing out. Lucky for those users and those not-easily-embarrassed members of the press, Apple seems to be addressing most of those remaining bugs with its 10.5.2 update.I have been seeing some issues with OS X just freezing up, losing the wireless network over airport extreme, and random hangs on Safari. I'll be glad when this comes out if it fixes some of these issues. Funny how people aren't screaming about Leopard bugs like they did about Vista issues. Guess it's that nice Steve Jobs halo surrounding the company.
